How to apply your customizations to your Flash movie

Before you begin: If you want to preview your slideshow images from your host, you must add a crossdomain.xml file to your server root. This will give EasySSP permission to run your gallery in the builder.
The file should look like this:

<cross-domain-policy>
<allow-access-from domain="www.easyssp.com" />
<allow-access-from domain="easyssp.com" />
</cross-domain-policy>

You can then add your images.xml or Director URL into the EasySSP builder's "Your XML File Path" field.

Standalone

Once you've purchased and downloaded SlideShowPro, you're just about ready to go.
Extract the downloaded zip package (SlideShowPro_for_Flash_{xxx}.zip) somewhere to your computer and you'll see a folder inside called "standalone". This folder contains all the files you'll need in order to publish your Flash slideshow into static web pages. Just follow the directions and paste the provided code into your site file(s).

Once you've completed setting the options using the EasySSP Builder tool, you can import into SlideShowPro by pasting the generated code into the param.xml file. Make sure your width and height settings are identical in the HTML as well as in the param.xml.

Joomla!

To add SlideShowPro to a Joomla! powered site, you will need to first download and install the module from the downloads section of this site. There are two native versions available for Joomla! 1.0 and Joomla! 1.5. Be sure you are aware of the version of Joomla! you are using or the install will fail.

Step 1: Install & Activate The Module

To install the module, login to your Joomla! administration.

For Joomla! 1.0, navigate to Installers > Modules and browse to the mod_easyssp_j1{x}.zip file and click "upload".
For Joomla! 1.5, navigate to Extensions>Install and browse to the mod_easyssp_j1{x}.zip file and click "upload"

Next, you will need to publish/activate the module into a position that your template supports. This is done from within the Module Manager.

For Joomla! 1.0, navigate to Modules>Site Modules and click the EasySSP module to access its options.
For Joomla! 1.5, navigate to Extensions>Module Manager and click the EasySSP module to access its options.

Some templates may have a suitable module position for the EasySSP module, however you may want to publish EasySSP so that it will appear by itself in the main content area of the Joomla! site. If this is you, then follow these instructions for creating a module position.

Step 2: Configure The Module Params

Within the EasySSP module parameters you will see a few global options at the top, as well as some more specific options below. *The height and width parameter must be identical to the sspHeight and sspWidth parameter in param.xml. The param.xml file is generated by the EasySSP builder. You can name param.xml whatever you like as long as it a.)exists and b.)is specified in the Param File Path relative to your site root. The purpose of this field as well as the next field Unique ID is so you can have multiple modules on different pages within your Joomla! site. The Background Color is an extra (hex) setting that will allow you to blend your movie with the template's background color.

Step 3: Upload the SlideShowPro files

Once you've purchased and downloaded SlideShowPro, you're just about ready to go.
Extract the downloaded zip package (SlideShowPro_for_Flash_{xxx}.zip) somewhere to your computer and you'll see a folder inside called "standalone". This folder contains a few files which you'll need to upload via FTP. You'll need to upload the following files to your Joomla! root folder:

Step 4: Configure & Generate the Parameter file (param.xml)

Using EasySSP takes a bit of getting used to. SlideShowPro is an amazing program with a plethora of options. Some options you may choose not to use - That's ok. For most users, the main options will be the colors and gallery display options. Once you are satisfied with your configuration, you can apply the settings to your Joomla! module by clicking the Get Config button. You'll see a block of code which you can Highlight, righ-click, copy and paste into your param.xml file. This file will then need to be uploaded to a location on your server (see step 2).

Because there are a few different files which make up this module, a few very important options to keep in mind are:
